Kilimanjaro Walk - 2 nights

Non Summit climb using the Marangu Route passing through Montane forest up to the Marangu huts. For those that want to get a taste of Kilimanjaro and actually get on the mountain, but don’t have the time to attempt the summit, we offer 2 days climb and 3 days climb which is the first camp and the second camp on Marangu Route. This is a beautiful trek through lush jungle, Have lunch at the hut and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Day 1:    Arusha to Marangu Gate (1L, 1D)
 
 

After breakfast and a short tour briefing from the guide, We will depart at 8:30 am from  Arusha to Marangu Gate  128 Km (84 miles) Elevation 1800M (5,905 Ft) to Mandara hut 2750M (9,021 ft)  Marangu gate is where your permit for trekking will be issued. Gate formalities take about 45 minutes and then start trekking after introduction to your porters from Chief guide.

The route begins at the National Park Marangu Gate at 1800 m with our packed lunch. walk through the fascinating rain forest to the Mandara Hut at 2750 m, 3hrs. If you’re lucky on the way you can spot Black and white coulobus monkey and Valvet monkey, dinner and overnight Mandara hut.

Day 2:    Mandara Huts to Marangu Gate (1B, 1L)
 
 

After breakfast at 8:30 today your guide will take you for a short walk 45minutes to ascent Maundi crater which is 2760m if the weather is clear you will have unbelievable view of the mountain take some pictures and start to descent to Marangu gate 1800m which is 2 hrs, Your driver is waiting at Marangu gate for your drive back to Arusha.

Using this information your personal travel consultant will suggest a personalised, tailor-made itinerary for you - complete with recommended accommodation and activities, prices and information about the area. Once you have read your itinerary, your consultant will answer your questions and revise it until you are satisfied.
Once you confirm the itinerary we will ask you to pay your deposit so we can complete and confirm all bookings.
