Chitwan Jungle Safari - 3 days

The plains of southern Nepal are home to an amazing variety of flora and fauna. Chitwan National Park is the most popular choice for jungle adventure. This ecologically diverse area is home to the Royal Bengal tiger, one-horned rhino, sloth bear, langur monkeys, wild boar, numerous species of deer, leopard and other jungle cats and over 400 resident and migratory bird species.

Day 1:    Arrival at Chitwan
 
 

Enjoy your arrival in Chitwan. Get rid off from the travel-tiredness and visit surrounding Tharu Village, which is a good excursion, indeed.  

Enjoy your night in Sapana Village Lodge, a fantastic setting bordering beautiful Chitwan National Park, which is uniquely designed hotel with authentic Tharu decoration, Sapana Village Lodge has 26 beautifully decorated deluxe rooms all with balcony, private bath and 24-hour hot water. Air conditioning is available in some rooms. 

 

 

Day 2:    Canoe Trip and Nature Jungle Walk
 
 

A relaxing way to explore the jungle is to canoe down the Rapti river. The trip takes about 45 minutes, during which you can spot various water birds and two different types of crocodiles, called Gharials and Marsh Muggers.

A fantastic way to get close to the wildlife with two local professional guides. In this exciting jungle adventure enjoy the green harmony of tall trees and an impressive range of animals. Keep an eye out for tigers, crocodiles, wild elephants, monkeys and rhinos who all inhabit this area. It’s possible to see all of them, if you are lucky.

  • All meals as specified (B= Breakfast, L= Lunch, D=Dinner)

  • Using this information your personal travel consultant will suggest a personalised, tailor-made itinerary for you - complete with recommended accommodation and activities, prices and information about the area. Once you have read your itinerary, your consultant will answer your questions and revise it until you are satisfied.
  • Once you confirm the itinerary we will ask you to pay your deposit so we can complete and confirm all bookings.
  • Your personal travel consultant will maintain ongoing contact with you and is here to answer your questions and concerns - he/she will continue to check that all arrangements are in place.
  • About two weeks before your departure you will receive your personal detailed day-to-day itinerary of your upcoming trip, as well as additional information such as cultural etiquette and other recommendations that will help you to maximise your experience.

 

During your trip your personal travel consultant will continue to be available to ensure that your travel experience is running smoothly and to your expectations.
