Senggigi Program - 4 days

Before starting the bicycling tour to the capital city of Lombok; Mataram, you will have the chance to relax in Senggigi. The bicycling tour brings you past villages and beautiful views over the ocean. In Mataram you'll be visiting the former royal courtroom and a public market before going to summer palace Narmada. When some other spots are seen, we head back to the hotel. The next day we leave the bicycle for what it is and go by car to the starting point of our 2 hours walk through rice and tobacco fields. By car we are brought to villages that are well known for traditionally made handicraft.

Day 1:    Start in Senggigi
 
 

After arriving in Sengigi, chec in to your hotel. Senggigi is the main tourist strip of the Indonesian island of Lombok, stretched out along the several kilometers of beachfront to the north of the capital Mataram.

Day 2:    Cycling Trip Senggigi – Mataram
 
 

We start the biking trip from your hotel in Senggigi. The tour starts with a ride heading South following the main road Pure Segara where we see local fishing boats lined up at the beach. Via Ampenan we reach the capital city of Lombok; Mataram. Once in the city there is a stop at Mayura which is the royal courtroom of former Hindu Lords. After Mayura we head on to Sweta and stop at Mandalika Public Market. Leaving the city behind the next stop will be Narmada, a summer palace that was built as the replica of Rinjani Volcano. After passing Suranadi, the biking trip ends at Lingsar, the holiest and oldest Hindu shrine on Lombok. Here you will get into a car that will take you back to your hotel.

Day 3:    Village Tour & Trekking Tetebatu (Sasak Village tour)
 
 

In the morning you will be transferred to Tetebatu and start with a walk for about two hours through rice and tobacco fields that lie on the slope of the Rinjani volcano. Along the way you will be met by enthusiastic children. By Cidomo (horse and cart) you will explore the surrounding area and then switch to a car that will bring you to Pringgasela. Pringgasela is a village well known for its hand woven textile named Songket. After lunch you continue to Masbagik, where pottery is still made in the traditional way.  Last stop will be in Loyok to see bamboo handicrafting.

Day 4:    End of program
 
 

Today is the end of the tour, after breakfast you can choose to book a transfer to your next destination or continue with another module.

Tour Includes:

  • All accommodation as mentioned in the program 
  • All meals as specified 
  • All land transportation by air-conditioned car with local driver 
  • Local driver during land transportation and transfers (Indonesian speaking only) 
  • Local English-speaking guides at most sights during the tour 
  • All services as mentioned in the program 
  • All excursions and activities as mentioned including entrance fees such as: 
  • Mataram City in Biking Trip including Air-conditioned transport, entrance fees, parking, escorting biker, local guide at some tour objects, bike rental, helmet, and mineral water. 
  • Village Tour & Trekking Tetebatu (Sasak Village Tour) including transport, Local guide, Entrance fee, Parking, Donation, Lunch, Cidomo. 

Tour does not include: 

  • Visa (fees) to enter the country (check if applicable to you) 
  • Flights and taxes
  • Airport departure taxes per person 
  • Travel insurances
  • Personal expenses like drinks, tipping, souvenirs etc. 
  • Optional excursions and activities and their entrance fees
  • Other expenses not mentioned in the program
